just a thought, my bike did the same thing when i left it out in a couple rainstorms(uncovered)..not good. anyway i changed the sparkplug, which didnt seem to be fouled, but also in the bottom of the carb there was a small amount of water just enough to screw things up..unscrewed the carb let it drain some, put some fresh gas and some dry gas in and ran it for a little while to basically dry it out, took it for a hard ride...runs great now. dont know it thats what happened to your but worth a shot.
